    As an Early Childcare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children, parents, child educators, and other childcare providers.

    Assisting and participating in the day-to-day operations of a childcare center, you will contribute to a nurturing environment in which young children can thrive. While working with children, you provide support and supervision as they play, encouraging socialization and enhancing children’s self-esteem during daily activities. Beyond child interaction, you will assist with record keeping, attend staff meetings to discuss progress and opportunities for growth and support and maintain the daycare equipment and environment.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assist Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) in planning and implementing daily activities

    Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment by following hygiene protocols

    Supervise children during indoor/outdoor play, rest periods, and meal times

    Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits

    Observe children for signs of learning disabilities or emotional issues and report to supervisors

    The Education Assistant diploma program prepares students to support teachers and students within the K-12 education system.

    With a growing focus on inclusive classrooms, schools require skilled support staff to assist students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or learning disabilities. This program focuses on behavioral management, educational psychology, and strategies to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting materials for special needs
    • Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
    • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior
