WELDING
The scope of work of construction electricians includes: layout, assembly, installation, commissioning, fault detection and troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of wires, fixed devices, control devices and related equipment in buildings. A zero base person needs 5 years of apprenticeship to get an electrician certificate. For skilled immigrants, one of the advantages of working in electricians is that electricians recognize their work experience outside North America. For those who have worked as electricians in other countries, if they have more than 5 years of work experience, they can directly apply for the electrician license examination. That is to say, the apprenticeship period can be omitted. As long as you can pass the evaluation, you can take the electrician certificate examination.
Learn:
1)Read equipment drawings and electrical specifications, and make installation line configuration drawings;
2) Installation, replacement and maintenance of lighting fixtures, electrical control and power distribution devices;
3) The fixed devices and components are connected into circuits according to lines;
4) Test and ensure the smoothness and safety of the circuit, and then install, replace or repair the equipment;
5) Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic system equipment;
6) Energize visual and audio communication devices, signal devices and refrigeration (heating) systems.
Job opportunities:There are electricians both inside and outside the workshop. The type of employer company: power company, electrical construction company, building maintenance company, or self employment.
